An S2S Systems Software License includes ALL S2S Systems application functionality organized into workflows from pre-stack seismic velocity modeling to full reservoir modeling. Software usage is monitored and licensees are only billed for the functionality they use. This licensing model is unique to S2S Systems and was designed to align our development goals with our client needs. It does not require an Internet connection beyond the initial software initialization. For more information on pricing and this unique licensing model please reference our standard handout (Lease Model 2009). S2S Systems deploys and installs our software directly from an S2S Server. While clients can purchase their own server and fully control all licensing and distribution, most license the software directly from one of the S2S Systems controlled servers. To access the software, a new client must first register on the website as a new user. Once registered, they will be informed when their account has been activated and they can then proceed to deploy the software to their computer. We DO NOT require the user be connected to the internet to operate the software, only to deploy it. While S2S Systems does not provide custom software development services we do allow clients access to custom releases of the software for testing and critical use purposes. We prefer to work with our customers in the development of new capabilities, which requires us to provide those customers with access to the software under development. This limited time access would be provided under a custom release which would only be accessible by a particular client group. Please submit all program requests to support@s2ssystems.com and include in the Subject Section "PAR" which stands for program action request. S2S System support staff will review all program requests and schedule the implementation. Please include contact information so we can call for clarifications if required. S2S Systems has authored a number of software manuals that describe how the software is used within the context of specific functional needs. They should be used in conjunction with our online help system. In general, the online help will be geared more towards operational issues while the manuals will be workflow based. Current manuals include, but are not limited to, fracture analysis and reservoir monitoring. S2S Systems can provide a number of demonstration and sample datasets. Several of the more critical datasets are provided for download. S2S Systems Software supports a number of data formats. Format descriptions for non-standard formats are provided for download.
